Kat Connors-Longo | E-RYT 500, C-IAYT, is a certified yoga therapist with more than 27 years of teaching experience. Her greatest JOY lies in guiding students to live more fully in their bodies and their lives, fostering empowerment and connection to their innate wisdom. Kat creates a safe, compassionate space, offering a strong foundation and a healing touch. She is dedicated to a mindful, multidimensional approach to yoga - integrating body, mind, emotions, and spirit - while encouraging students to embrace themselves with authenticity and care
Kat has been practicing Hatha Yoga since 1992 and teaching since 1999. Her teaching journey began under the inspiration of Ana Forrest, whose approach emphasized integrity, strength, spiritual embodiment, and healing. Over the years, Kat has trained with leading teachers including Ana Forrest, Donna Farhi (developmental movement patterns), Judith Lasater (Restorative Yoga), Cheri Clampett (Therapeutic Yoga), Bob Cooley (RFST & Biomechanics), Michelle C. Johnson (Social Justice), and Jivana Heyman (Accessible Yoga), among others. She currently teaches Therapeutic Yoga at the Santa Barbara Yoga Center, the Ridley-Tree Cancer Center with Sutter Health, and in private sessions, sharing practices that support healing, resilience, and accessibility.
